Compression Therapy
NormaTec compression is a type of dynamic compression therapy that uses specialized compression devices to apply intermittent pressure to specific body parts. The system consists of boots or hip attachments that inflate and deflate with air in a sequential pattern, creating a "pulsing" effect that helps improve blood and lymphatic circulation. This technology is often used by athletes, post-surgery patients, and individuals with circulatory issues.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does Compression therapy work?
Compressed air is used to massage limbs, immobilise fluid and fight inflammation. Compression sleeves are applied to the applicable area, sleeves inflate to compress muscles, pulsing up the limbs which helps remove fluid, lactic acid, waste and swelling from the body.
What Can You Expect In A Compression Therapy Session?
To start, you will be asked to sit in a recliner chair, the compression devices are then applied. Your legs will be kept elevated as gravity also helps in circulating the body fluids. It is a non-invasive procedure, however you will feel a little bit of pressure (much like a blood pressure cuff). Levels of compression can be adjusted for Individual needs.
