Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy involves standing in a specialised chamber that releases nitrogen to drop the chamber temperature to up to -150 degrees Celsius. This process of freezing your body has been likened to a much improved and quicker version of an ice bath, with the entire session only taking 3 minutes. Frequently Asked Questions
How does Cryotherapy work?
Your session lasts for up to 3 minutes, with temperatures cooled to -150 degrees. Exposing the body to intense cold for a short period triggers a survival mechanism which then transfers blood from your extremities to your core and vital organs to protect your cores temperature. During this process, your blood is cleansed of toxins and pumped full of oxygen, nutrients and healing enzymes. Following your treatment, your body immediately begins to return the enriched blood back to your skin, muscle tissue and surrounding joint space delivering an array of benefits.

Is there a height, weight or age limit?
We can accommodate clients of all ages as long as they are in the height and weight categories between 1.5m – 2m and up to 130kg in our cryosauna. However, you will also have to be able to stand comfortably in the chamber without touching the sides in order to be allowed to purchase a session.

Do I need to shower before or after?
No, this is a dry therapy and it's essential for your skin to be dry to prevent chilblains.
Is Liquid Nitrogen dangerous?
