Float Therapy
A Float Tank session involves stepping into a sensory deprivation tank filled with 350kg of Epsom salt. The amount of Epsom salt in the water allows you to effortlessly float in the tank as it is as buoyant as the Dead Sea. The Epsom salts also known as Magnesium Sulphate absorb into your skin as you float and this and in turn enhances your body's natural ability to heal.

How do I float?
The tank is filled with 350kg of Epsom salt, which effortlessly allows you to float much like the dead sea.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
We supply everything you'll need.
Swimmers are not required as you are in your own private room, they can also act as a distraction, however can be worn if you feel more comfortable in doing so.
The only thing you'll need to bring are personal items such as a hair brush or deodorant.
What are some do's and dont's before floating?
DO
- Have a light snack about 1 hour prior (but not too heavy)
- Remove contacts
- Remember to bring any personal items such as deodorant or a hair brush
- Make sure your hydrated, the high salt content can make you dehydrated. A complimentary bottle of water is available after your float
- Allow yourself plenty of time to get to your appointment, if you've been rushing you may find it harder to relax
DONT
- Shave or wax the day of your Float
- Consume caffeine or other stimulants 4 hours prior
- Have your hair dyed or spray tan 7 days before your Float

I’m pregnant, is it safe to Float?
Absolutely!
Floating can be a haven for pregnant women as it allows you to escape the added weight of pregnancy, taking the strain off the body and spine.
However, if you are in your first trimester, or have any concerns please consult your physician before coming in.

I’m claustrophobic, can I Float?
This is perhaps one of the most common misconceptions, that people who are claustrophobic cannot float and it's definitely not true.
We regularly hear that customers are interested in floating but are anxious because of being ‘closed inside’ a tank.
So here are some important things to remember about floating:

You are by no means restricted inside the tank, you can get in out of the tank at anytime
